Dr. Jennifer Kolin served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy from 2017-2024 where she served in North Carolina, San Diego, and most recently North Chicago. She is a plank owner of USS Tripoli, LHA-7, and helped to man the ship during maiden voyage from Pascagoula, MS, around South America via the Strait of Magellan, to her new homeport in San Diego. Over the course of two years, Dr. Kolin estimates she traveled more than 20,000 nautical miles with Tripoli, approximately the same distance as would be required to circumnavigate the globe.
Originally from San Francisco, Dr. Kolin studied History and Political Science at UC Berkeley, and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She now lives with her family in the North Shore of Chicago and enjoys cycling and traveling (ask her about her recent trek on the Ohio to Erie trail!)
Dr. Kolin is excited to be joining the North Suburban Dental team in Northbrook and providing dental care to those in her new community. She has special interests in both treating TMD and in helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals.
