Dr. Sharma was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Palatine, Illinois. He later moved to Wauconda where he completed high school. Dr. Sharma received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sharma continued his training and completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago.
During his residency, Dr. Sharma received additional training in all aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, implant surgery, IV sedation, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, special needs dentistry and more. He has a keen interest in lowering dental anxiety by getting to know his patients and truly making them comfortable in his office. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. He strives to provide excellent care for his patients by continuously education himself in the latest in dentistry.
When Dr. Sharma is not treating patients he enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and trying new cuisines.
